First, a lot of you won't understand this, and I'm okay with that.
For those who grew up with me and remember my Las Rocosa Sadie Lynn, you'll get this. And for those who REALLY know me....You Know.
This dog, teammate, and best friend has been such an incredible joy and blessing in this season of my life.
" This season" has included great highs but also incredible lows. Things like our kids graduating from college and marrying their love of their lives' (high) but then realizing you incredibly miss their everyday presence in your life (low). A season of losing both our dads. A season of knee replacements and hearing aids, muscle loss and weight gain. A season of making wills and trying to plan for retirement. A season of starting to clean out all the things you kept, that you "thought" your kids would want someday; but you realize they don't. A season of looking in the mirror and seeing age spots, wrinkles, and gray hair. A season of trying to simply comprehend where the days, weeks, months, and years have gone.
See....in "THIS SEASON"...this dog has brought so much joy, love, and adventure into my life and our home. She has accomplished so much in her young tender life. So many titles (48), so many accomplishments, SO MANY FIRSTS FOR ME, and she has willingly let me come along for the ride. Some have likely judged that I've pushed her too hard...but see, she and I understand the value of time, so I will respectfully disagree. We love our journey together and in "this season" I'm getting wiser about learning that waiting really isn't an option. God willing, we will continue to make beautiful memories Charm❤️ on this journey I'm blessed to travel with you!
