My soul mate, my rock, my constant the last 10 years. I got Kai from Dawn (Revelaire) in summer of 2015, three years after Lane left for college and 2 years before Lanae would go. Kai's grandma was Glory, who Dawn got from me all those years ago. So, a piece of Walker/ Misty has lived on in my house.
I cannot imagine this season of my life without her. She has been a constant in my world that included some incredible highs and even deeper lows. In no particular order... She was by my side through two knee replacements, a vehicle accident that included a broken sternum and 5 cracked ribs, my severe hearing loss (and suspected Meineires Disease Diagnosis), the craziness of COVID, Haley's battle with AML at Riley's and the helplessness I felt for my sister and her family, Haley's successful transplant, Lanae graduating from high school, then college (empty nesting), Lane and Amber getting married, Lanae and Adam getting married, Mom's stroke and then her seizures, losing Daddy, my Father-in-law passing, Ancilla becoming MUAC and at the time, the stress of those changes, the passing of Miley, Hannah, Sedona, Rodeo. Dolly, & Faith, the addition of Charm and now Wish. Hills and Valley's....highs and lows, Kai has been by my side through it all....she is so special to me❤️
I'll love you forever and will never be able to makeup for what you've given me...your unconditional love, support, and presence in my life precious Kai Bear.
- Kai's show career ended early with a CCL tear and TPLO surgery. Although I believe her surgery took away the pain, she no longer has the ROM and at her age, I'm not risking an injury on the opposite side. So, she is retired from showing but travels with us and is the Queen of the house.
